On the XV70 Camry this is about as simple as car maintenance gets. Both arms use a conventional J-hook with a plastic locking tab, so aftermarket beam or conventional blades fit without adapters. The blades are different lengths — 26 inches on the driver side, 18 inches on the passenger side — so don't buy a matched pair.
The only wrinkle is access. The wipers park low under the hood lip, so you either open the hood first or use the wiper service position so the arms stand up on the glass. The mistake people make is letting the naked metal arm slam down on the windshield while wrestling the new blade on; that is how windshields get chipped. Lay a towel down and keep a hand on the arm.

How the job goes
Park on level ground, turn the ignition off and make sure the wipers are fully parked at the base of the windshield.
Raise the hood, or put the wipers in service position: with the vehicle in ACC/ON, run the wipers to mid-sweep and switch the ignition off so the arms stop up on the glass. On many XV70 cars you can also press the wiper switch briefly after shutdown to raise them.
Lift one wiper arm off the glass until it locks upright. Do only one arm at a time so they cannot clash.
Lay a folded microfiber towel on the glass under the raised arm as insurance against a snap-back.
At the J-hook, press the release tab on the blade's plastic connector with the small screwdriver or trim tool, then slide the blade down along the arm to unhook it.
Compare the old and new blades for length and connector type before fitting — driver side 26 in, passenger side 18 in.
Slide the new blade's hook onto the arm in the opposite direction until you hear and feel the tab click home, then tug lightly to confirm it is locked.
Lower the arm gently onto the glass, keeping your hand on it all the way down.
Repeat on the other side.
Clean the windshield with glass cleaner, then wipe the wiper path with isopropyl alcohol to remove wax or silicone.
Close the hood, top off washer fluid, and run the wipers wet on all speeds. Check that they park correctly under the cowl with no chatter or edge contact.
Watch out
Never let a bare wiper arm snap onto the glass — it can crack or chip the windshield. Support it or lay a towel down.
Do not run the wipers dry; wet the glass first or you will scuff new blades and the windshield.
Check that the parked blades sit below the hood lip. If a blade or arm was disturbed, the driver blade can catch the A-pillar or the hood edge.
Do not lift the hood with the wipers standing up on some trims — the hood lip can strike the arms. Choose either hood open with wipers down, or wipers up with hood closed.
If the wipers have been running in ice, clear the cowl before operating them; a stalled wiper motor can blow the fuse or strip the linkage.
