On the 11th-gen Civic the mechanical part of a rear brake job is easy: two 12 mm guide-pin bolts hold the caliper, two 17 mm bolts hold the bracket, and the rotor usually slides off once the hub rust is broken loose. The catch is the electric parking brake, which is standard on the whole generation.
